Long-Term Decarbonization Pathway Aligned With 2015 Paris Agreement
JinkoSolar was the first global solar manufacturer to become a member of the RE100 and EP100 initiatives in 2019. This means that the company is committed to sourcing 100% renewable electricity across its global operations by 2030 and to implement an energy management system across all operations and improve energy productivity 30% by 2030.
In addition, the company became the first Chinese photovoltaic group company to have the three major targets (near-term, long-term and Net Zero) validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).
United Nations Global Compact
In 2021 JinkoSolar joined the United Nations Global Compact, setting an example to the photovoltaic manufacturing industry.

JinkoSolar was one of the first top 10 companies to join Solar Stewardship Initiative (SSI). SSI is the first-ever supply chain sustainability assurance dedicated to the needs of the solar PV sector and its customers.
JinkoSolar is committed to the SSI Principles and to have its site independently assessed against Solar Stewardship Initiative Standards to support responsible practices in the solar value chain.

SSI Traceability certifications
JinkoSolar has obtained two Bronze certificates against the SSI Supply Chain Traceability Standard. The sites assessed were Shangrao Guangxin Jinko Photovoltaic Manufacturing Co., Ltd. and Jinkosolar (Feidong) Co., Ltd.
This certification verifies that both sites has systems in place to demonstrate traceability across key stages of production, supporting responsible sourcing practices and increasing confidence for buyers and other downstream actors.

Shangrao Module factory has been awarded the SA8000:2014 Certification by TÜV Rheinland. This internationally recognized standard promotes fair and safe working conditions, empowering and protecting employees across the supply chain.
