Our Serial Number (SN) Verification Tool enables JinkoSolar customers and partners to confirm the authenticity of their JinkoSolar modules. This ensures they have received a genuine product, preventing fraud and ensuring compliance with warranty and certification requirements.
Confirm AuthenticityHow to Use the Serial Number Verification Tool?

Go to the PV Support section on the JinkoSolar EU website. You can find it in the main navigation menu under ‘Contact’ or simply click button below

Select ‘PV After-Sales’ from the topic drop-down menu

Choose ‘Serial Number Authentication’ and click ‘Verify Serial Number’ – you will be redirected to JinkoSolar’s official global verification page

Select the country where the module is located from the drop-down list

Enter the module’s Serial Number (SN) – a 24-digit code. It can be found in one of the corners on the front side of the module, and also in the center of the rear side

Enter the verification code shown to the right of the ‘Verification Code’ field and click ‘Verify’
The tool will instantly cross-check the serial number against JinkoSolar’s database and return one of three possible outcomes.
Verify Serial Number
Scenario 1: Authentic Jinko Product
If the selected country matches the original sales destination of the JinkoSolar module, a message like the one in example below will appear:
“The product(s) in association with the serial number(s) you inquired about are eligible for Jinko Solar’s warranty and after-sales services within the Germany and the sales region this country located. Beyond this area, the warranty and after-sales service will not be available.”
Scenario 2: Authentic Jinko Product
When the selected country is different from the original sales destination but within the same JinkoSolar sales region, a message like the one in the example below will appear:
“The product(s) in association with the serial number(s) you inquired about are eligible for Jinko Solar’s warranty and after-sales services within the France and the sales region this country located. Beyond this area, the warranty and after-sales service will not be available.”
Scenario 3: Unauthentic Jinko Product
A situation where the product in association with this serial number is not a genuine JinkoSolar product, then a notification like in the example below will appear.
“Dear users, we regret to inform you that the product in association with this serial number is not genuine JinkoSolar product or was sold and entered into the market through unofficial sales channel. This serial number is related with product not eligible for Jinko Limited Warranty and supporting service. Should you require further assistance or wish to learn how to purchase through our official channels, please do not hesitate to contact us via our online consulting platform here.”
