Carbon Footprint Standards and Certifications

In October 2021, Jinko’s Tiger (163″cell based) and Tiger Pro (182″ cell based) module series have met the carbon footprint verification standards of TÜV Rheinland Group. According to the latest stringent international carbon footprint standard, the assessment was conducted by evaluating the overall environmental impact of these two series of modules throughout the “cradle to grave” life cycles. This begins from raw material processing through to product production, transportation, waste management and final disposal, all-in-all evaluating energy management, life cycle analysis, raw material, and supply chain management etc.

In February 2022, Jinko’s hero product, Tiger Neo Bifacial BDV 570 (144 cells) and Tiger Neo Bifacial BDV 610 (156 cells) modules, have been officially certified by CERTISOLIS for their very competitively low carbon footprint values, respectively, of 448 and 450 KG CO2/KW to specifically meet the local requirements of the French market. This comes in addition to the current CFP certifications for products in the Tiger Pro series, which have already achieved promising CFP values for 108 cells, 120 cells, 144 cells mono and bifacial dual glass series.
